Musician and exhibition designer with passion. Start in the world of music at the age of 6 with the violin and youth orchestras. At the age of 12 he discovered the piano as a perfect instrument for improvisation and as a balance to classical music. Initially auto­didactic, later in courses at the jazz schools of Zurich, Basel and Lucerne. This was the basis of a great passion for this instrument and the further autodidactic way. 

Urs Luthard has been playing the piano for 30 years in various band formations ranging from Jazz to Latin, Salsa, Funk, Blues and Soul.
